An Audience with Mike Procter

Description: Legendary South African and Gloucestershire international cricketer; international cricket coach, ICC match referee and South African Test Selector.

Now Principal of the Mike Procter Foundation.

Mike will talk about his life in cricket from his role in the legendary South African team of the late 1960's, life in England playing for Gloucestershire, his part in the Kerry Packer cricket revolution and latterly his role as the South African coach on the country’s re-admittance to international sport in 1991.

He will also talk about the influence on his life of Nelson Mandela who he regards as inspirational and the work of his Foundation supporting disadvantaged children in townships.

There will be a live Q&A with “Proccie” and he will sign copies of his new book “Caught in the Middle”, which will be available to purchase.  This book was nominated for an International Sports Biography Award.

All profits to go to the Mike Procter Foundation, which brings sport and education to disadvantaged young people in the townships around Durban, South Africa.
