| Description: | We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to host a Board Member lunch with Thandi Modise, Premier of the North West Province in South Africa during her trip to London in April 2013. Ms Modise was also previously Deputy Secretary General of ANC, President of the ANC Women's League and in the past trained as soldier for the military wing of the ANC. Recently, Ms Modise has been very vocal in the press condemning farm murders and violence against women. As the North West Province is rich in platinum and thus will be a good litmus for conversation around mining, finance, labour and rural area issues, her talk will focus on Finance in South Africa and the Extractive Industry. This Business lunch is by invite only. |
