| Description: | Tight Five Events and the South African Rugby Legends Association invite you to join your sporting heroes in support of ex-Springbok, Joost van der Westhuizen and his J9 foundation. After his incredible 10 year career, Joost is regarded as one of greatest scrum-halves to ever grace the field. He retired holding the record for the most test tries scored, as well as for being the most capped Springbok of all time (38 and 89 respectively). In 2011 he was diagnosed with terminal motor neuron disease and this led to him establishing the J9 Foundation. His foundation provides aid to patients and their families who endure the overwhelming hardships that this terminal condition brings about. This fundraising event will take place at the elegant five-star St Pauls Grange Hotel in London on Tuesday the 12th of March. It offers incredible auction lots for sporting fans, live entertainment by Elysium III and a host of sporting celebrities such as Matt Dawson, Austin Healey, Rupert Moon, Kyran Bracken, Andrew Gomarsall and football legend Patrick Vieira. Tables of 10 range from £1200 to £2000 (excl. VAT) and this includes a welcome drink, a three course meal and a Q and A with Joost and friends.
