Description: | I would like to inform you of some upcoming concerts in London before I head to South Africa for the summer (well, winter!) I am soon finishing my undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music and will be playing my final recital on Friday 24 May 3:05pm in the Amaryllis Fleming concert hall of the Royal College of Music. I will be playing works by Debussy, Medtner and.. myself! Other dates include:
Every morning this week, (14-17 May) at 8:45am - St Georges Hanover Square, as part of a series called "Morning Calm". 10 minutes of reflective music in a beautiful space to start the day.
7 June 1pm - St Mary Abbott's church Kensington. With saxophonist Sophia Elger.
7 June 6:30pm - V&A museum. Solo recital.
11 June 1pm - St Stephens Gloucester Road. Solo recital.
22 June 4pm - Grosvenor Chapel, Mayfair. Memorial concert for John Addison - chamber music with other RCM players (plus I'll be playing the Murder She Wrote theme tune..!)
30 June 3pm - St Anne's Church Kew. Beethoven and Brahms trios with Poppy Beddoe (clarinet) and Florian Belbeoch (cello)
26,28,29 June & 1 July 7pm - I'll be playing the piano part in Bernstein's chamber opera "Trouble in Tahiti" in the RCM's Britten Theatre. Bound to be great fun!
3 July 7:30pm - Amaryllis Fleming concert hall. featuring in saxophone concert, playing a Saxophone+piano quintet!
The events mentioned on the flyer are mostly internal RCM concerts and can be booked at https://www.rcm.ac.uk/events/. However, with the exception of the opera, I am sure it would be fine just to turn up and acquire tickets at the door.
