Event:

The Battle of Isandlwana: British Defeat or Zulu Victory?

Description: In his talk Douglas Rattray, son of the late David Rattray will explain the battle of Isandlwana from both sides: English and Zulu and will highlight the courage of the desperate soldiers, and the gallantry of the proud warriors. The Eurocentric understanding of this titanic clash has, for years, been that of a British blunder. Douglas believes it is high time to consider this struggle for what it really was: a great Zulu victory.

In support of the Khula Foundation: "Without education, there is no hope; without hope, there is no future." - David Rattray
