WCCSA - Professional Networking Event - "Pancakes and Wine"

To begin the evening, ensure your glasses are charged.  Either source a bottle of your favourite from home or join the Chairman of the Membership Committee and Chairman of the evening and her fellow South African "wino" and taste and learn about some top and amazing value for money SA wines.  We will be tasting two whites, two reds and one sparkling.

You can purchase a 'Shrove Tuesday Package' in advance, which includes one or more bottles of the wines being tasted and paired with pancakes    Your shipment will be delivered to your door; you buy the wines, WCCSA will pay for the shipping and you get the personally created pancake ingredients added.

WCCSA Chaplain Reverend Andy Rider will give us an insight into the meaning of Shrove Tuesday and its importance in the Christian faith and explain the significance of eating pancakes on this day.

Marianna Marks, author of 'Naked Baking' will teach us how to make the perfect pancake with the ingredients she sends out to those buying the Shrove Tuesday wine package.

After which, Marianna and our own Company Clerk, Keith Povey, will first "judge" your pancake creations (for those who want to test their culinary skills and to enjoy pairing them and the pancake ingredients with the wines chosen).  Then they will go head to head, to our vote, to earn the prestigious title of 'Best Pancake Flipper' of the night!
 

Shrove Tuesday - Wine and pancake packages

UK wine merchant Gerhard Perold, of the famous Pinotage wine making family, will ship to you the wines of choice from his shop - "Perold Wine Cellar" in South England.

Event Packages and other discounted collections are available, purchase by Friday 12th to ensure timely delivery of tipple and pancake ingredients.
Naked Baking - healing foods, can also be ordered so you can be guilt free in eating your pancake!!

The webinar itself is free and open to members, prospective members and friends of the Worshipful Company of Company Secretaries and Administrators.  The "formal" part of the evening will be an hour long.

Please have a drink to enjoy - purchased or home sourced, pancake(s) to eat and your sense of humour to ensure we all enjoy a couple of hours of fun and networking.  The informal extension of the evening will be for as long as we want to share time in conversation.
