The resilience of the rule of law is continually being tested by pervasive threats in South Africa. 2021 saw widespread looting take place in deadly protests against the conviction and imprisonment of former President Jacob Zuma, for corruption. The ANC is in its weakest and most vulnerable state in many critical respects since the 1994 elections. Chamber President, Leon Ayo will be joined in conversation by Chamber Member, Lawson Naidoo, of the Paternoster Group. Up for discussion amongst others will be: -The Rule of Law in South Africa - Policy Stagnation - The perceived vulnerability of Pres.
