Description: Join Sharon Constançon as she speaks with the team from Yes4Youth.co.za on 'transforming companies, communities and youth lives by connecting youth to economic opportunity and dignity and together, building a future that works'.

The webinar will discuss the enormity of youth unemployment and what Yes4Youth are doing to address it.

How can companies get involved in the unemployment crisis? 

How can Yes4Youth change the lives of people who have very little education?

The panel will discuss the various programmes and initiatives on offer to the youth and how companies can partner with them.

SAYouth is a free and zero-rated national platform that connects talented and engaged work seekers to various opportunities including – YES, Full-time jobs, Part-time jobs, learnerships, volunteering and learning opportunities.
This platform transforms the work seeking experience of young South Africans from being complicated and costly to one which is accessible and less expensive.

SA Youth is supported by the Presidency, YES, National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator as part of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention. Stephen Koseff and Colin Coleman are co-chairs of the Board. Cas Coovadia and Ravia Naidoo are Non-Executive Directors.

Leanne Emery Hunter, Chief Marketing & Client Officer, Yes4Youth
Leanne has worked in industries from telecoms to professional services to education. She has always been passionate about youth development (and particularly young women) and education, so she feels like she has really  found her home now at Yes.

Leanne wants to be a part of the solution in South Africa and cares deeply about youth empowerment. She is fortunate to work in an organisation which challenges her as a marketer and leader daily, but also provides her with the opportunity to build things from the ground up and feeds into her purpose.

Leanne says “It’s much easier to get up every day when you know that what you do makes a real meaningful impact and this helps me through the tough days.”

Farai Mubaiwa is the Chief Partnerships Officer at Youth Employment Service (YES).
YES is a business-led NPO that works in partnership with government and labour to initiate policy changes which incentivises the creation of jobs for youth.

Johanita (Joh) Serfontein, Chief Organisational Officer, ITVarsity & YES4Youth 
Joh provides strategies for scaling businesses in the Education, Tech and Entrepreneurial Fields, identifying targeted growth plans so they can produce global products and achieve sustainable profits.
