“We’re delighted that GoldFish will be headlining at Allianz Park and they will take the event to a whole new level,” said Stevens.
“They’ve got a big fan base in London – particularly among the South African community here – and they’ll be a great fit with the relaxed party vibe we want to create.”
Sevens and the City is a multisports festival staged at Allianz Park in NW4 where the action includes rugby sevens tournaments for every standard plus netball, seven-a-side cricket, five-a-side football, dodgeball, a Summer Slam fitness competition and coaching clinics for kids.
There’s a superstar charity rugby game for the Worldwide Currencies Cup on the Friday night featuring the likes of England’s Iain Balshaw and Mark Cueto, South Africa’s John Smit and Neil de Kock and Australia’s Justin Harrison.
