The SACC’s Chamber Connects event for March was also a celebration of SA Human Rights Day. Shami Chakrabarti, Director of Liberty, the National Council for Civil Liberties in the UK, was our esteemed guest. She reminded us of the need to remain vigilant for human rights activists fought for and not to be complacent about our rights.
