SA Chamber UK KZN Chapter Launch

David White, Chapter Leader and ExCo member of the SA Chamber explained the need for the Chapter, stating “trade supports economic stability and growth, it should be easy, but it feels complex.” 

SA Chamber Chairman, Sharon Constançon, added that “the SA Chamber in the UK is mandated to support the development of trade between SA and the UK and it is wonderful that KZN is the first SA Chapter to engage directly in creating an easier corridor for trade.  Exports will help to drive economic upliftment.”

At the launch event on 14th September at 9:00am SA / 8:00am UK time, well known KZN businessman, Moses Tembe, Co-Chair of the KZN Growth Coalition and a Director of the SA Chamber in the UK, will be sharing opportunities for business growth with the UK. He will be joined by Mxolisi Miya, former executive of Trade and Investment KZN, Board member of the Institute of People Management in KZN and ExCo Member of the SA Chamber in the UK, who will share his knowledge on how to provide solutions to KZN businesses trying to find offshore markets.

Our Keynote Speaker will be Kuseni Dlamini, Chairman of the Board of South Africa's Massmart Holdings Limited and Chairman of JSE–listed Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd.

The SA Chamber looks forward to growing the local chapter, which will be a place to meet like-minded business leaders and engage in meaningful discussion and trade activities which will help grow and develop the KZN economy.
