Royal African Society 120th anniversary "Creative Africa"

This year, in commemoration of their 120th anniversary, the Royal African Society are hosting "Creative Africa" - a celebration to be held at the outstanding Aqua Shard.

They write:

Orchestra, Shingai and Osibisa, plus and an exclusive live auction of contemporary African artworks and other items by Sotheby's.

The event will support the work we do to promote African voices and creativity, especially through our Film Africa and Africa Writes festivals, our educational and journalistic training programmes and our advocacy on policy & business issues, highlighting the importance of innovation and communication in creating a flourishing future for all Africans on the continent and in the diaspora."
