In this talk, Avi will share his experience in running a dynamic international business. Throughout his career Avi has been working on a number of ventures, some more successful than others. His acquisition of a technology called Mole Detect has taught him a valuable lesson about expanding to US market and dealing with US Trade Commission. He wants to share this lesson with other entrepreneurs to help them avoid costly processes and mistakes that can heavily affect their business.

Avi has been working in Life Sciences for the last 15 years.Recent experience includes crime scene visits in developing countries, commercialisation of the worlds first Hair Alcohol Test to determine alcohol dependency. Implementation of South Africa's first ever roadside drug testing pilot project, developing EtG alcohol testing for urine. Appointed by the Government of Libya to analyse the DNA samples from the victims of the Airbus A330 that crashed on landing at Tripoli airport after a flight from Johannesburg and many other special projects. Recently through the development of the 1st ever commercial test looking at genetics and professional sports, Avi was recently referred to as a "Genetic Lifestyle Pioneer".
