Elitsa Dermendzhiyska (Ellie)

After working in investment management in Washington DC, Ellie turned down a place on a top MBA program to join a tech startup incubator in Bali, where she managed strategic operations and finance. In the UK she's consulted with various technology companies to help them access national and EU grant funding.

Sarah Malter

After studying astrophysics, psychology, and genetics, Sarah found her way into corporate training, specialising in neuro-linguistic programming. She has trained Fortune 500 companies around the world and regularly teaches at major UK universities. As the child of two computer programmers, she has always been interested in technology and has helped hundreds of companies unlock government funding.

Grant Central helps UK tech, medical, social and creative businesses access national and EU grants in a simple and hassle-free way. The team combines over 30 years of experience in grant writing, public policy, high-stake communications and technology allowing it to make complex grant applications easily accessible to time-starved entrepreneurs.

What's great about working with other South Africans? They speak your language. They are friendly, clear, honest and direct in their business dealings and, like you, know what hard work means - and they have fun doing it. You and your business need people like that – people you can trust. The event is aimed at South African or businesses owned by South Africans, those who do business in South Africa or employ South Africans, and who simply like South Africa and its people.
