BBBEE Series: Amendments to South Africa’s Employment Equity Act

Description: The SA Chamber of Commerce UK is hosting a series of webinars in partnership with the BEE Chamber to create awareness of South Africa’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and how best to implement the legislative requirements focused on highlighting the return on investment and the business sense behind B-BBEE.

The BEE Chamber has become South Africa’s largest B-BBEE Practitioner member-based organisation.  They provide information, support, guidance, services, and software to BEE Practitioners who are the employees within a company responsible for managing a company’s B-BBEE Scorecard.
The BEE Chamber compliance specialists will provide SA Chamber delegates with updates on the B-BBEE Legislation and the latest interpretations from the B-BBEE Commission and the DTIC B-BBEE Policy Unit and day to day issues of relevant importance.

There are significant interpretive variances between these two offices with additional variances being applied by accredited B-BBEE Rating Agencies which represents a risk to our members.
By attending the webinars, you will be kept abreast of the situation enabling you to confidently manage your B-BBEE targets and recognition levels each year.
