Event:

How you can support making a real, sustainable difference to Africa’s wilderness communities and her conservation

Description: Join us on the 12th September for the Rewilding Africa CIC launch of its exciting new business and individual Ambassador scheme! We're inviting businesses and people from the UK and around the world to join us in making a positive impact by becoming an Ambassador.

Rewilding Africa is a not for profit Community Interest Company in the UK that wants to change how people think about and support Africa's conservation. Our goal, working closely with our carefully selected implementing partners in Africa, is to shift the responsibility for conservation to the local communities who have lived on the land for generations, along with the animals, plants, and birds that call it home.

Visit the Rewilding Africa website: https://rewildingafrica.org.uk/

As an Ambassador, you will be helping us to:

•   Acquire derelict farms within large wilderness areas that are ideal for rewilding.
•   Help expand and protect critical habitat for endangered and persecuted species such as elephants, rhinos, lions and pangolins.
•   Rehabilitate damaged landscapes and re-introduce key and endangered species.
•   Educate and build community owned conservation businesses.
•   Negotiate policy changes with some of Africa’s governments and wildlife authorities.
•   Keep Africa’s magical natural world intact for future generations to enjoy.
