From the sizzling Boerewors Rolls to the tender Lamb Curry, Oxtail Potjie, and the sweet delights of Melktart and Koeksisters, we've got your taste buds covered. |
In addition to some great South African food, the Pig & Whistle sell "Bomb Squad" lager, which will be available on the night. The lager company's founders, Springbok front-rowers Steven Kitshoff and Malcolm Marx, became known for their involvement with the “Bomb Squad” - to help inject some life into the late stages of a game. The two players have banded together once again to conjure up the company’s identity and beer. The beer itself, which is brewed at Amandalia Farm in Roberston, Western Cape, is described as “smooth and crisp with a light body” with “a mild bitterness that lingers in the mouth, but never weighs you down.” Arrive from 6:30 pm to network before we dive into the buffet served at 7:30 pm. Don't miss out on this feast for just £25 per person. Secure your booking and indulge in a night of South African hospitality and flavour. The Young Professionals Chapter aims to encourage networking amongst the South Africans living in the UK. Additionally we aim to provide opportunities for social engagement helping those who have recently made the move to the UK and are looking to establish themselves.
