Women’s Chapter

It is important that we educate ourselves on the importance of gender equality and to understand the statistics and trends we are seeing around women on boards and in senior leadership positions across companies on a global scale, and furthermore that gender equality is for the benefit of everyone, not just women.

A lot of women battle from imposter syndrome, speaking their truth or having their voice heard on what they have to say and believing in the value they bring to the table. The aim of the SACC Women’s Chapter is to form a community of women where they have a support network and learn the strength in their voice and the value in their unique viewpoint.

We believe it is through community and support of diversity in the workplace, and embracing our differences, that we will enhance levels of excellence within the workplace; something that has been proven through multiple studies.

The Women’s Chapter will aim to host four networking events per year. Each event will be hosted in a different region with a virtual option for ladies who are not able to travel. We will initially focus on London, Guernsey, Jersey and the Ilse of Man with the intention of expanding to other UK cities in due course. We would like to form sub-committees in the different regions to encourage as many South African businesswoman as possible to get involved.

Please feel free to get in touch, we would love to hear from you!
