Summer will be with us in July, as will our annual summer drinks networking event. This year, the drinks will be held in the magnificent Reading Room at South Africa House on Trafalgar Square. We are very pleased to have the UK's Trade Commissioner for Africa, Emma Wade-Smith joining us to give a very short address as our guest speaker. A British Diplomat for two decades with overseas assignments in Washington, D.C., Mexico, New York (United Nations), Chile and a secondment to the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and the European Commission in Brussels. Foreign policy experience spanning the globe and extensive crisis leadership experience, including being honoured with an OBE for leading the FCO's Crisis Department. This is an event to network with South Africans and friends of South Africa, enjoy good wines, good food and South African hospitality. This is one event everyone enjoys attending. The evening is focused on relaxing, networking and socialising. Please join the South African Chamber of Commerce UK, the Directors and many volunteers to enjoy a party at our premier annual networking event. The Chamber is growing, we have enjoyed many good speakers recently, but this time we are together to enjoy mingling with other members and guests, catch up with friends you have not seen for a while in the fantastic South Africa House building. |
