Friday 5 December 2014 marks one year since the passing of President Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.

The SACC, along with South Africans all over the world, remembers the life of President Mandela and celebrates his unflailing commitment to democracy, human rights and justice for all.

President Mandela undoubtedly set a remarkable example for all people, from individual citizens to world leaders, to live their lives and craft policies in the service of others. The SACC strives to ensure the ideals to which Mandela dedicated his extraordinary life are an integral part of our work.

Today we honour and remember the life of a man that changed the course of history. Madiba birthed the new South Africa, and the SACC endeavours to build on these firm foundations.

We salute you, Tata.
